Jessica Klein's Web Design & Development Portfolio

Welcome to the online web design and development portfolio of Jessica Klein! Here you'll find examples of work I've done on projects such as gaming utilities, online literary resources, and graphic design. While most of my work has been private, rather than corporate, I've had several years of experience with numerous web design and development technologies which began as a hobby for me back in 1997. You'll also find a copy of my resume as well as information regarding the best ways to contact me.

Professional Goals

As evidenced by the body of work displayed here, my primary passions are web development and online gaming. I hope to combine these two passions by working within the game industry as a driving force for development and enrichment of the online gaming experience. My dream is to find a company that I can be passionate about, knowing that both I and the people I work with are striving toward a common goal with like-minded determination, moral character, and ambition. I like to be challenged, and I hope to find a job that is both exciting and combines my love of technology and gaming.

Additional Information

I specialize in the following development languages, with an emphasis on standards compliance: XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP/MySQL. I am also proficient with Adobe PhotoShop and ImageReady, Dreamweaver, Flash, FrontPage, as well as most Microsoft Office suite utilities (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point). In addition, I'm familiar with a variety of other design and development related software titles. I have approximately five years' experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Joomla, phpBB, SMF and vBulletin.

I majored in Web Site Design & Management at the Community College of Vermont, specializing in web scripting languages.

In addition to my love of web development and online gaming, I've also discovered a passion for writing both fiction and non-fiction through my work on my primary site, The Hunter's Mark. Over the past two years, my work with "THM" has allowed me to expand my knowledge of and familiarity with the greater online community of gamers and leverage my enthusiasm for the genre of online fantasy RPGs for the benefit of an online resource: The Azeroth Advisor, for which I am currently an acting Content Editor overseeing informational accuracy and planning for resources pertaining to several classes within the game World of Warcraft.
