AzerothAs many are doing before the release of Cataclysm, I’ll be working my way through each zone taking screenshots so I’ll have some record of the Azeroth we all know and love before it goes BOOM! My rough plan at the moment (and I intend to begin as soon as maintenance is done today) is to spend some time in each zone in Azeroth taking screenshots as I go and each day I’ll post the best screenshots I got from a particular zone until I run out of zones. I’ll be using this post as a jumping off point for the series so I’ll have a list to work from as I wander the countryside, and I’ll be editing this post to add links as I publish posts for zones–so you’ll be able to refer back to this post periodically to check out the screenshots I collect.

I may or may not work down the list in order, it’s hard to say at the moment. A lot of that will really depend on whether or not I’m in a big yank to visit a particular zone or not. But, I will get to every zone in the list one way or another, so it really doesn’t matter if I jump around or not.

I’d suggest doing Azshara next, as it is one of the places that will get drastically redone (due to it being a new starting zone) and it would be best to get it done quickly before the 4.0 drops!

Doing about two zones per day, it shouldn’t take me more than a month to finish (although, I’m only posting one per day) and I doubt 4.0 will drop within the next month, so I should be all set. ;)

But, Azshara will be next on my hit list regardless. :)

    Barrens.

The entrance to WC needs to be screenshotted before Deathwing eats it.

    Then Ashenvale, because…I said so.
