The home of Stormwind City, Elwynn Forest is the Human starting zone and home to the notorious Hogger. The WoW machinima “Billy MacLure“, winner of the Best Dance, Best Editing and Best Original Music awards at the World of Warcraft Movie Contest in 2006, was shot in Elwynn Forest and is based off a Level 1 quest giver of the same name located within Elwynn Forest.
Several other popular machinimas also take place in Elwynn, such as Stormwind: Guards, Happy Up Here, and Elwynn Ambush, among others.
